FGA’s CEO, Tarren Bragdon, testified at the U.S. House of Representatives before the Committee on Energy and Commerce’s Subcommittee on Health.

Tarren educated committee members on the innovative, Medicaid Cure-style reforms states have accomplished to fix their Old Medicaid systems, improve patients’ health and happiness, and save taxpayers millions. He explained that more states could achieve these same powerful outcomes if the federal government provided state leaders greater flexibility to transform Old Medicaid into the pro-patient, pro-taxpayer safety net it should be.

Tarren also explained how the optional Medicaid expansion called for in the Affordable Care Act, or ObamaCare, is dangerous for patients and taxpayers, and why states should reject expansion and instead focus on fixing Old Medicaid through Medicaid Cure reforms.
